Being Able To Talk Freely And Honestly This is a safe and gentle process where you may explore many aspects of your life, choices, freedom, limitations and responsibilities in a supportive non-judgmental environment. I will not give advice, but I will support and facilitate you in making your own decisions and finding your own strengths and resources in order to get on with your life in a more meaningful and productive way. There are so few situations where you can just talk about anything that is on your mind or in your life.
Resolve Unhealthy Reactions Do you have buttons that are often pushed by those around you? This is a good place to take the sting out of your “buttons” by clarifying and resolving the beliefs that underlie them and also freeing up the emotional content. Clear up defensiveness and anger issues.
Relationships Relationships are the stuff of life. We all want them, and need them to operate in our social world. Singles or couples counselling or a combination of both can be very helpful here. Sorting out your personal issues and also the way you are interacting with your partner in terms of communication and expectations are invaluable to a healthy relationship. You may come by yourself or with your partner. Remember if you change something in you the relationship has to change as well in some way.

Grief Counselling Dealing with grief and loss - losing something or someone that has been important to you is a milestone in your life. Someone to support you and listen can help you through the grieving process as you process and find those inner resources that can lead you back into life in a meaningful and productive manner. We also offer couple counselling in grief and loss.
Family Counselling Counselling is suitable for relationships, single and couples sessions, divorce advice, separation, parenting and family issues.
Emotional Issues Depression, Anxiety, Panic attack, Postpartum depression, Resentment and many other conditions may be helped considerably with counselling. I am happy to work with your GP and any medication that you are taking to help you on the road to recovery.
Counselling Style I am a counsellor who incorporates the humanistic models of counselling with the more practical and solution focused models. I don’t give advise. The purpose of counselling is for you to develop your own problem solving skills, personal resources and inner strength so that you may leave the counselling process empowered and with more skills and awareness and clearer about your freedom and responsibilities and possibilities.
